BoostTix (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates a ticketing, registration, and paid voting platform for organizers and attendees in Ghana and West Africa.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using BoostTix, you agree to the practices described here.

We collect information you provide directly and data generated when you use the platform:

• Account details: name, email, phone number, password (stored securely), and organizer business information.
• Transaction data: orders, ticket types, vote selections, amounts paid, and Hubtel payment references.
• Event and campaign content you publish as an organizer, including banners, descriptions, and nominee details.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and product improvement.

We use personal data to operate BoostTix and deliver the service you expect:

• Process ticket purchases and paid votes, including MoMo and card payments.
• Send confirmations, QR tickets, vote receipts, and essential service messages by email or SMS.
• Provide organizer dashboards, payouts, QR check-in, and live voting results.
• Detect fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with applicable law in Ghana.

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with trusted processors who help us run BoostTix, such as Hubtel (payments and SMS), Supabase (hosting and database), and Resend (email), each under appropriate data protection terms.

Organizers receive attendee and voter details required to fulfil events and campaigns they run. Organizers must use that data only for event-related purposes.

We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active and as required for accounting, tax, and dispute resolution. You may request deletion of your account subject to legal and operational requirements.

You may access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where applicable. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we work continuously to protect your information.
